Secret human experimentation is definitely the stuff of nightmares.  Matters are made worse when goverment is responsible for these nightmares.

In order to test the effectiveness of various bio-weapons, officials were known to have sprayed mustard gas and other skin-burning, lung-ruining chemicals, like Lewisite, on soldiers without their consent or knowledge of the experiment happening to them.

In the 1940's, with penicillin as an established cure for syphilis, the US decided to test out its effectiveness on Guatemalan citizens.

To do this, they used infected prostitutes and let them loose on unknowing prison inmates, insane asylum patients and soldiers. When spreading the disease through prostitution didn't work as well as they'd hoped, they instead went for the inoculation route.

CoH please

I do think it was last year or early this year that Clinton went on to say " America Apologizes " for this horrific tragedy but it's good that you refresh the same crime to American's.

Am just saying your research has already been posted by someone and I am acknowledging your continued interest in not having it buried.

Believe it or not, I was a senior NBC NCO for a Calvary unit while stationed in So. Korea, I am well aware of BIO-Chem weapons up until 1992.

I believe you Walter. I was stationed in South Korea myself, with the Air Force 1989-90. I was not aware the research had already been posted. I appreciate your expertise as I do your comments. Hopefully, the article I posted will not only ensure continued interest but provide a different perspective for those not viewing the previous post(s). Thanks.
