The Pittsburgh Steelers have the best fans in the NFL.  Pittsburgh fans remind me of college football fans. They travel in large numbers with their team unlike any other team in the NFL.

In the NBA, the nod goes to the Los Angeles Lakers.  Fans of the Lakers are loyal as any in the NBA.  Fans come and go but Lakers fans remain the same.  After all, many are stars themselves, Hollywood celebrities.

I have no idea which MLB team has the best fans.  But the New York Yankees have the biggest payroll. 

In college, the best football fans are at Nebraska.  Cornhusker fans have contributed to more home sellouts than anyone.  I remember when Nebraska played a game at Notre Dame.  Cornhusker fans bought virtually of the tickets, making the game a home game away from home.

Of course, there is no equivalent to Kentucky Wildcat fans in college basketball.  Any home team playing the Wildcats should beware.  If there are not careful, Kentucky basketball fans will outnumber them.

The same is true for the Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team.  In fact Lady Vols fans usually always outnumber their opponents.  It does not matter where the game’s being played.  It can be at home, on the road, or at a neutral site.

In Europe, where soccer reigns supreme, fans are rabid about their sports teams.  Some fans in Europe are so supportive of their teams they will riot before, during, and after matches.  They do not even have to be at the game to riot.

Sports fans are very passionate about their teams.  This includes fans on all continents except the Arctic and Antarctic.

There are many sports teams, competing at different levels, all across the globe.  I only claim to know about the fans of only a handful of teams.
